All Ceramic

All Ceramic restorations continue to be our premium metal-alternative as it demonstrates the necessary strength, durability and natural appearance to provide maximum esthetics and long-term function.

e.max

IPS e.max is a modern and innovative system which covers the entire spectrum of all ceramic indications ranging from the venners to 10-unit bridges. IPS e.max allows you to offer your patients impeccable esthetic restorations with high mechanical strength. Lithium disilicate, which demonstrates superb esthetic properties, is used to restore single teeth in the anterior and posterior region. The zirconium oxide ceramic IPS e.max ZIRCAD, however, is the material of choice for large restorations such as posterior bridges. The fact that a standardized veneering ceramic is used will benefit your combination work (lithium disilicate and oxide ceramics). Furthermore, IPS e.max crowns and bridges can be bonded or conventionally cemented.

Empress Esthetic

IPS Empress is the epitome of all ceramic function and esthetics. With more than 33 million restorations fabricated with the leucite glass-ceramic throughout the world, the system has gained a reputation for producing long-lasting, natural-looking results and maintaining high quality standards.

Zirconia

Bio-compatible medical grade Zirconia is produced with CAD/CAM precision accuracy, perfect for anterior or posterior indications. Modified shoulder or chamfer prep and conventionally cemented is recommended.

PFM

Porcelain fused to metal crowns and bridges are dentistry’s primary restorations of choice because when properly constructed and seated, they are strong reliable, esthetic and a good choice for either anterior or posterior teeth. These crowns are strong enough to withstand heavy biting forces and at the same time have an excellent cosmetic appearance. Here at EDS. we offer a wide range of ivoclar alloys from base to high noble. We also offer several porcelain options to ensure you get the strength and esthetics you need for your patients.

Captek

Forces of mastication and everyday function produce vibration shocks, which harm porcelain and the crown supporting structure, weather implant or natural tooth. Unprotected porcelain may chip and crack during function. Captek™ protects its porcelain by absorbing masticatory and impact vibrations that advance from the impact site to the inner layers. When an implant or a restored tooth structure is exposed to continuous shock vibrations, their structure is weakened, and the periodontium might be affected.

The inner and outer layers of Captek™ are 25 micron thick each, 97% gold and 3% silver. These layers are highly elastic and resilient and absorb very well the shock vibrations that travel through the porcelain.

The resilient elements of the Captek™ intermediate composite metal layer contribute to the shock inhibition of the crown.

The shock absorbing property greatly prolongs the life expectancy of the final crown and bridge.

The gingiva is not only unaffected by Captek™, but has a positive effect.

There is less gingivitis and recession around a Captek™ crown.

In several researches Captek™ crowns have exhibited a unique feature. Around the Captek™ metal there was less bacterial attachment. This trait might be explained by the exceptional three dimensional structure of the composite metal.

Around the Captek™ margins there has been proven to be less bacterial accumulation then around natural teeth or other crown systems. Clinically it is evident that there is less gingival inflammation compare to any other crown system.

Captek™ is fabricated solely from precious metals, which do not react in the oral environment. There are no oxide formations by the Captek™ metal, no oxides to penetrate the surrounding gingiva. The Captek™ coping will not create a reaction in the gingiva, there will not be a darken line around it.
