Heather A. Voss, CDT President

Is a second generation dental technician, who started her career at Voss Dental Laboratory in Buffalo, NY with her father, Howard A. Voss. Heather has studied with several world class technicians and clinicians including Willi Gellar & his Oral Design Team, Matt Roberts, Brad Jones, Don Cornell, Dr. Robert Winter, Gerald Ubassy, Michel Magne, Jurgen Seger, Dr. John Kois, Dr. Frank Spear, Dr. Tom Trinker & Dr. Ron Jackson just to name a few. Heather is an LD Pankey graduate, LVI certified master aesthetic technician, and a Certified Dental Technician. Heather was recently appointed to the National Board of Certification in Dental Technology Board of Trustees.

Her area of expertise is focused on fixed prosthodontics and cosmetic restorations. She has been published in various clinical and technical journals and has lectured for both dental technicians and clinicians throughout her 20 year career. Heather’s extensive business management and technical background combine to create a laboratory culture focused on delivering on-time, consistent, quality restorations, utilizing the best and newest technologies and materials available with a commitment to continuous training and development for herself , her customers and her technical team. Heather was born and raised in Buffalo, NY and is the proud mom of two daughters, enjoys the outdoors hiking, skiing and biking and anything culinary.

Dave Catania Fixed Department Manager

Dave has been in the dental laboratory industry for over 12 years. He manages our Fixed Department and is our resident Cerec Connect expert consulting for Sirona over the past 4 years teaching technicians and clinicians how to get the most out of their Cerec systems. Dave has studied with some of the best technicians and clinicians in dentistry today. Lee Culp, Dr. Tom Trinkner, Peter Pizzi, Michel Magne, and Dr. Peter Dawson to name a few. Dave is married and he and his wife Trinity had a baby girl in June.

Kevin Summerville Technical Customer Care Manager

Kevin has nearly 35 years in the fixed dental lab business and the experience and knowledge to answer any question from a simple PFM to a complex implant case. He takes customer service seriously at Evolution Dental Science because he know there's a living breathing patient at the end of every restoration EDS makes. As the Technical Customer Service Manager he is responsible for answering your technical questions, scheduling your cases to ensure quality and on time delivery, invoicing and Quality Assurance. Kevin and his wife Pam have been married for 34 years and have 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren.

Jim Wasikowski Removable Department Manager

Jim has been with Evolution Dental since 2004, the Removable manager since 2006. Born and raised in Western New York, Jim is married and has a beautiful little 2 year old daughter. In his spare time Jim’s passions are Cars and Football. At EDS Jim handles all removable technical and scheduling questions, Q.C, training and also works on the bench. Jim has attended continuing education courses which include: Ivoclar’s Complete Denture Fabrication, MDI supported dentures, Avadent, and Lee Culp’s Esthetic Fixed Restorations. Jim has been in the industry for 19 years and his removable team has a combined experience of over 50 years.

Vince Murphy eMDI Specialist

Vince has grown up in Buffalo, NY and has been working in the dental industry since 2004. Vince handles our eMDI case treatment planning and CBCT evaluations. He also works on our CAD/CAM cases and manages our Model Department. Vince is passionate about dental technology and enjoys working with our customers to create case success. He is married and is the proud father of an active 1 year old son.

Kathy Fahmer Customer Care Specialist

Kathy has worked as a customer service representative for over 20 years. She has been in the dental industry for over 6 years and early on in her training took the initiative to sit chairside with the technical team to have a better understanding of what is involved working in a dental laboratory. Kathy continues that quest for knowledge through seminars and reading and as a result Kathy is another set of “eyes” that check each EDS case before it leaves the laboratory on its way back to our customer. As the bubbly voice you hear when you call EDS, Kathy values the opportunity to develop relationships with our customers and their staff, answering questions and providing support. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family camping, fishing, and is a big sports fan.

Jake Dorman Customer Care Specialist

Jake has been working as a Customer Care Specialist with the team at Evolution since 2010. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the SUNY College at Buffalo, graduating magna cum laude, in the fall of 2005. Previously, Jacob had worked a Sr. Research Support Specialist at the SUNY at Buffalo for over four and a half years. His diverse education and experience have made him uniquely qualified to perform various tasks that are necessary in a fast-paced, cutting-edge dental lab. Additionally, with the responsibility for performing various inventory control tasks for the lab, as a customer care specialist, Jacob has the privilege to serve as a liaison between our clients, vendors, and the experienced dental team that stands behind every restoration we produce.

Krista Schultz Finance / HR Manager

Krista is a recent addition to the Evolution Finance Team. She has an extensive background in Finance and Audit. Previous experiences include Corporate Controller, Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant and Senior Finance Manager. Krista is very detail oriented and is responsible for all of our corporate finances. In addition to being an accountant Krista enjoys being involved in charitable organizations. She is currently on the Josephine Good Year Committee at Childrens Hospital, serves as the chair for the locally owned small business for the Town of Amherst and Marketing / Finance Director for the Educational Advisory Board at St. Peter and Paul School. She loves spending time with her family skiing and playing tennis.

Joe Morasco Account Executive

Joe joined Evolution Dental Science in 2011 and brought almost 20 years of experience in the Western New York dental market. As our local Account Executive, Joe is responsible for advising area dentists about our wide range of services offered and consulting with them on how we can benefit their practice. Joe has a customer service focus and finds the challenges of creative problem solving to be very rewarding. He and his wife, Margie, live in Williamsville and enjoy outdoor activities including hiking, biking, boating, and cross country skiing.
